In the New Testament, Galatians 5:1 sums up the Lord Jesus’ mission, “it was for freedom that Christ has set us free”. This theme of liberty, recovery and freedom is also the heartbeat of His first “sermon” as recorded in Luke chapter 4. We believe that these are key verses for our church and town and that 2009 will be a “Year of Release”, from sin and shame and into God’s very best for our lives.
